Hi, Vibrants !

ElJay during the night of IE-m premiere

today is the day. Indian E-music will go 1st time “on air”. Or better to say: it’s me, ELJay. Exiting… after 4 year of more than 55 hours pre-productions in “Studio 2″ of my home channel TIDE 96.0 I got my 2nd radio show in 2010. A good start, or ? – Not bad…

The music for tonight 09:00 pm CET is in the pipline… and I’d like to surprise you with something real cool vibrations. The idea I got for Indian E-music started maybe round two years ago. Beside my regular monthly show IMC – India meets Classic which will be broadcasted on ever 3rd Tuesday at 09:00 pm (CET) further on I am always as I was during last 25 years interested in some new sounds… maybe that’s the right word to use. Looking for a good sound, less for good music (Rec.: If you stand under a shower, the water sound can be very inspiring, right ? – I like it… dont want miss it.)

It might be Bach, a progressive Jazz tune (of my beloved Miles Davis or some of the young lions, as John McLaughlin named them in a wonderful talk I had with him in 2008), a Raga interpretation (= improvisation) of  North Indian Classics (Hindustani) or South Indian (Carnatic), everywhere you can find something new in these different musical genres…

So I hope I can take you with me on this wonderful journey exploring some interesting, chilly, and maybe even little bit provocating sound out of Indian Electronics… let’s see ! – And take your chance to get in touch with me via Studio Cam, Skype telephony (only available during show time) or follow on Twitter what is coming next.
