So it’s been about year and a half since the ‘invention’ of the moombahton and the genre is spreading like a wildfire. At the basic root of moombahton lies the dutch house groove, which slowed down to around 108 bpm gives the music a tropical reggaetonish vibe, although vast number of producers from all around the globe add their flavors and new elements into the genre.
But still Dave Nada, moobahton inventor, is the godfather and the most influential figure of the new tropical moombahton bangers. Meet the man and listen what he has to say about the genre itself in this video by GoKill.tv and Mad Decent:
